Infrastructure

Infrastructure plays a key role in the safety of all road users and the encouragement of new bicycle riders. The Australian Bicycle Council works with Austroads to develop nationally consistent guidelines for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of cycling network infrastructure. The Council also coordinates research projects relating to bicycle infrastructure.
