Objective

To provide road and transport authorities with national strategies and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable levels of capability including skills attraction and development.

  • Review of tertiary education courses and possible development and delivery of post graduate courses to meet the specific needs of road authorities

Task force

The objective of the capability task force is to provide Austroads member authorities with national strategies and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable levels of capability, including skills attraction and development relating to technical skills specific to road authorities and related road industry organisations. These skills include road and bridge design, construction and maintenance, traffic management, project delivery and project management and road safety.
