The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) provides information to help protect consumers when buying personal property, such as a motor vehicle. Some of the information in PPSR reports is sourced from NEVDIS.

Contact your State or Territory road agency to request a correction.

More information is needed to generate your report.

  • If your vehicle was manufactured before 1 Jan 1989, indicate that your vehicle contains a Chassis
    Note: There are no restrictions on the characters used for the Chassis.
  • If your vehicle was manufactured after 1 Jan 1989, indicate that your vehicle contains a VIN.
    Note: Do not use the letter I O or Q in your VIN entry as these are invalid VIN characters.
  • Check the VIN/Chassis on the current registration papers matches the identifier on the vehicle compliance plate.
  • If there is no current/previous registration information on NEVDIS, there will be no information on the PPSR report.
