In 2016 Austroads released a tool designed to identify and support investment in ‘Life Line’ freight routes.
‘Life Line’ freight routes are roads that are highly valued by local communities and regions but, based their traffic volumes, may not deliver positive outcomes in traditional upgrade project priority assessments.
This webinar will provide attendees with an overview of the concept of ‘Life Line’ freight routes, demonstrate the tool and interpret its results.
Attendees will gain an understanding of:
- how the concept of ‘Life Line’ freight routes can be used in business case assessments of road upgrade proposals for ‘Life Line’ routes
- how to use the assessment tool and interpret results.
No charge, but registration is essential.
