Austroads has recently undertaken a strategic review of the Guide to Traffic Management series.
The Guide to Traffic Management consists of 13 parts and provides traffic management guidance for traffic and transport related practitioners.
The strategic review was undertaken to:
- propose a master schedule for future reviews and revisions of the Guide’s parts and, if applicable, provide alternative resources for member agencies and stakeholders
- identify gaps and potential emerging gaps in the current Guide series
- review and propose a mind map highlighting a high-level broad structure of the Guide to Traffic Management series content for use on an online portal.
The strategic review comprised three key stages: literature review, stakeholder consultations, and evaluation and reporting.
This webinar will provide you with an overview of the key findings of the strategic review and the opportunities for Austroads going forward with respect to the Guide to Traffic Management. It will be particularly beneficial for users of the Guide to Traffic Management who are interested in the future considerations of the Guide series.
