Jurisdictions are road and transport agencies establishing schemes, permits and applications with an IAP compliance solution.

Jurisdictions have the responsibility of providing IAP Service Providers with the necessary information to adequately monitor the heavy vehicle operating under the IAP, including Intelligent Access Conditions (IAC) to ensure permitted routes/networks are adequately monitored. Jurisdictions also have the responsibility of receiving from IAP Service Providers the notification of heavy vehicles not complying with a condition of access, that is, a Non-Compliance Report (NCR).
